Dragons!

How is it that things can be really challenging one week and then a pushover the next?

Grats to Rodoga on the [Gown of the Spell-weaver] and Redhelwar on [Barricade of Eternity]!

Also congrats to Rod, Ryurin, Sesilia, Orphi, and Redhelwar on [Champion of the Frozen Wastes] and more to come as we finish some heroics for our players.

Malygos 10 down!

Malygos 10 drops

So after trying out different tactics for the Eye of Eternity Malygos fight, we were finally able to down him.  Vehicles in WOTLK are pretty clunky, and it’s even stranger when all of the dragons are rogues whether they attack or heal.  Regardless, we got some nice drops in the [Ice Spire Scepter] for Misara and the [Hailstorm] for Brinnixx.

WOTLK updates!

So yeah pretty much any time you see me say that I am working on a new layout for the website, probably what happened is that I worked on it for a few hours, then never got back to it.  Well, we have new forums (now detached from FFXI) and thus we need a new site as well.  So here it is!

WOTLK has been out for almost two months now, and we’ve been making our way steadily through Northrend.  We have 28 characters at level 80 (two of them Rodoge…) and many more in the leveling process, whether for the first time to 80 or on alts.

During the last two months, we’ve completed multiple full clears of Archavon, Sartharion, and 10 man Naxxramas. This past weekend marked our first journey into 25 man Naxxramas, along with a few members of our friend guild, TRT. We were able to clear 12 of the 15 bosses before calling it a night, leaving only Thaddius, Sapphiron and Kel’Thuzad still standing. For some, it was their first time in either Naxxramas, and everyone performed wonderfully. Thank you to everyone who came and congrats on all of the loot received.

We’re currently in progression on 10 man Malygos, working on stage 3. This week’s plan is to defeat 25 man Sapphiron and obtain the Eye of Eternity key for future 25 man Malygos runs.

For those of you we haven’t seen in a while or are still playing FFXI, Happy New Year and we hope that things are going well for you all!
